PopTheQuestion is operated by Nliminal, LLC. We earn a commission if you buy through links on this page, at no extra cost to you.
That sentence is the disclosure we also place near retailer links, following the FTC's endorsement guides. The guides are at 16 CFR Part 255. (to verify that the citation still matches the current text)
What is and is not connected
This version of the site can link to public pages at Blue Nile, Brilliant Earth, James Allen, Rare Carat, and Amazon. A commission is intended, not confirmed. Rates, cookies, and caps have to be read inside each network after approval. Do not treat any percentage in an old plan as the live rate. (to verify)
Until a tracking template is set in the environment, a "shop" link goes to the retailer's public page and does not add a made-up affiliate parameter. Amazon is the exception: if an Associates tag is set, we add Amazon's tag parameter. If it is empty, we omit it.
Editorial
A retailer link is not a review. We do not publish star ratings, invented customer quotes, or prices. Staff should not publish a price without a date and a source.
